Risk Management-includes the basic steps required
to manage a risk successfully. It is more cost effective to
prevent losses than to manage losses.
Basic Steps:
- IDENTIFY the Church's human and physical
resources and how they are exposed to accidents and loss,
- Take ACTION to eliminate or minimize the
possibility of accidents or loss and
- Determine the extent of financial protection
required.
Risk Control / Loss Prevention is a key element
of Church Management and for churches it involves a deep and
ongoing concern for -
- PROTECTING PEOPLE from accidents and injury
- PREVENTING destruction of church property
